A thoughtful, moving poem - a bit of a surprise, to me, from H.D. Could someone help me explicate these critical lines? I keep the mysteries true, the first of these to name the living, dead
I wonder if this is a veiled reference to Christian communion. Jesus is dead but the church celebrates his memorial hence " the living." For me it is a mystery but significant.
Mysteries are important and great and true feeling in the poem and likes it.
