It a dream,
A dream of my journey home,
I am drawn by desperation,
Looking for my home,
At the beginning, home is in a proximity I could see from afar
I boarded a car to take me home,
Or, should I have walked home?
I was glad if I could reach home more quickly,
Like I said, it a dream,
My journey home.
I look out the car window, and realize that home seems to be a long journey,
I could have sworn I saw home,
I became unsure of home,
The environment I find myself now feels foreign,
I am unsure, and scared that home is a world to big to find.
I dropped down from the vehicle, hoping to find home myself
I met my sis along the way,
She knew home, and still knows the way home
I realize too late, home is a one man journey,
I am all alone looking for home again, I couldn't find my sis to lead me home.
I am stranded,
What is home?
A person, or a place?
I have been struggling all my life wanting to find a place I belong,
Not in friends,
Not in family,
Not in wealth, and accomplishment.
My journey home is still a journey I am on,
I am still searching for the home I thought was close by, but still far
Maybe home is a person,
Home is each and everyone of us,
A journey of home, is a journey of finding ourselves in this chaotic world,
I haven't found home
I am still on the journey of home.
