If I felt that you had been here,
it was because your angel
would have touched me with his wing
like a breeze,
and
you would have been here with him
in an unbeatable sensation.
Maybe you thought if the angel had told me,
I would have known,
but he wouldn't have said anything.
He would never tell me,
but I've been waiting for you,
to give me your love
in rainy mornings
with hopeless awakes...

If I had sensed your presence,
it would have been because
your angel would have caressed me
with his wing,
akin to a gentle wind,
giving me the impression that
you were also present
in an unrivaled sense.
You might have believed that
I was told about you by the angel.
Indeed, I would have been aware of it,
but he would never have expressed it.
He would never converse with me.
On gloomy mornings
when it rains a lot,
I've been waiting for you
to show me your love.

Very nice. Falling in love with rain gives immense pleasure.
Beautiful sister, just beautiful. A feeling of tranquility came over me as I read this gem of a poem...thank you for the treat.....
Calling this a Blues Poem is very appropriate. At a concert many years ago the Blues singer Taj Mahal told us the Blues can be many things but they ALWAYS have to be s-w-e-e-t, and your poem is suffused with sweetness peeking through the sadness of a lost opportunity for love/affection/sharing. I noticed you used the helping verb WOULD five times in 13 lines - that verb precisely expresses the sadness of lost opportunity. But the movement of this poem has a compelling counter-rhythm expressed in the sheer loveliness of the DELICATE RAINY MORNING. Do you know Shakespeare's line MERCY DROPPETH AS THE GENTLE RAIN FROM HEAVEN TO THE PLACE BELOW? That's the counter-rhythm which saves the poem from abject sadness so the sweet blues can work their magic and salvage some happiness in the promise of love in the future. This rainfall is shining!
Cloud is an angel who touches us with raindrops. The rainy day imagery is beautifully drawn in this poem. This is an excellent sharing done here.
I love this especially the line towards the bottom in rainy morning hopeless awakes
