Random Thoughts 2.0 Poem by Michael J Williams

Random Thoughts 2.0

A kind and honest heart will never fail—
In the eyes of those who truly see.
Cruelty may win a fleeting tale,
But never build a world to be.

A better world is gentle and fair,
Forgiving, helpful, open wide—
It shuns the hollow, selfish glare,
Where those who differ are cast aside.

No place for age or sickness' cost,
No room for those we deem unfit—
A world where worth is never lost,
For all are precious, every bit.

Great ideas bloom for all to share,
Inventions that uplift the soul—
Not just for the privileged few who dare,
But for the many, making whole.

The world does not need a ruler's might,
But leaders who serve with humble grace—
Who stand for justice, truth, and light,
And hold the people's well-being in place.

Governments can be strong and just,
When guided by integrity's call—
Reducing greed, mistrust, and lust,
And building bonds that bind us all.

It's not the system, but those who lead—
Honest hearts, with morals true—
That shape the world we wish to seed,
A future born from me and you.
