Dad
The smile on your face, I miss
Almost two decades have passed
Ever since you were gone
But my memories are still alive and fresh
Making me believe that it was just yesterday
You lay down helplessly
With your face, newly shaved

I said your name, and you replied with silence
That made my innocent eyes fill with tears,
Brother Donou held me close in his warm arms
and took me away
My tears flowed like a river
And some men carried you away, too
Until then, you live underground

And I see the top of your roof every now and then
And you are deeply asleep
With your soul flourishing in heaven
Where the sky is blue
and Happiness is the King.
