The Chance Operations Of The World Literature Into A Verse Paragraph
10 January, 2019
In the attempt to define the term 'literature', one can distinguish between two general directions: a broad and a narrow definition. The broad definition incorporates everything that has been written down in some form or another, i.e., all the written manifestations of a culture (hence, there are terms such as 'research literature', 'the literature on civil rights', etc.) . Needless to say that such a broad definition is problematic as it does not really facilitate communication about the topic. Furthermore, this concept neglects the fact that in many cultures in the past and for a number of indigenous peoples today, literature has not been captured in written media but has been passed down in a long oral tradition of storytelling, myths, ritual speeches, etc. Attempts to come up with a narrow definition have, however, led to such a diversity of approaches that one can hardly talk about 'the' narrow definition. Nevertheless, it is possible to sift out some of the criteria scholars have applied in order to demarcate 'literary texts' from 'non-literary texts'. These criteria include:

I am back again with a new thought and new frame of mind and emotions....because for me without feeling anything I just can't write and I want to jot down the thoughts which are disturbing me right now......I was wondering what love is....Why is the range of love so restricted....Love is not about a man and woman relationship. As I thought, I found my thoughts in a far wider horizon where I was breathing liberally cauze ultimately I snapped ties with the one feeling called love towards your man.....Love has more wider range and perspective...After snapping out of a deep rooted emotional relationship I was able to look at love with a different perspective. The love for your God, the love for your country, the love for the nature the love for the people you hardly know...Love..such a beautiful emotion... suffocated in few relationships where you neither get to breathe nor express because of possesivness which is very harmful in a relationship. A relationship where you are ruled and dominated and ultimately you land up snapping out of every other relationship, which was your lifeline at certain juncture of your life.....
We see families breaking up, we see marriages breaking up just because one is insecure about the person they love and try to bind them with demanding promises.....I discovered this in my long journey of complicated relationships. One has to give space, freedom of thoughts, respect the other person...otherwise your so called love life will just crash very badly.Later on it will be just a relationship of compromises and adjustments as you can't come out of the suffocating relationship because of the families, society n children who always keeps an unwanted marriage bound..Sad indeed...but that's the truth of life..

Hopefully PoemHunter will not object and appreciate the additional exposure that this innovation gives them as well. I will eventually make a small comment on each of these fine poems. Please be patient! : -)
